I am always taking funny giraffe pictures when I go to see them at the zoo. In summer the zoo is open until dark so I saw a cute giraffe lit up by stars and moonlight several times at night. That was the inspiration for this 'every shade of blue' colorful giraffe art cartoon. The funny faces on these animals and crazy long necks make for a fun giraffe picture tangle. The deep blue starlight is to add some magic. Hey wait, there goes a shooting star. Quick, make a wish. Wow. Giraffes can almost reach the stars.
As I stood watching the giraffes I thought I could just barely almost maybe perhaps possibly hear them talking in giraffe talk. (Do you speak giraffe? How long is your neck?) Well guess what they were talking about? Turtlenecks, necklaces, and acacia tree leaves. Here's what I overheard as I stood there drawing cute giraffe cartoons. "Long time no see," said the giraffe named Shorty. "Why the long face?" "Well it's a long story", said blue giraffe Stretchy, "I haven't bought my girlfriend, Neehi, a gift in a long time, and I thought a necklace or turtleneck would be nice. She longed for a necklace so I got one." Did she like it?", asked turquoise giraffe Oolong Oblong. "Not by a long shot! To make a long story short, she gave it away. She said it was all wrong and had belonged to a longtime lifelong ding dong she knew. She was quite long winded about it. So to cut a long story short..." or make a long story longer?... nope ....So long! Hope you enjoy this funny cartoon for kids...of all ages. And all the LONG idioms!
